MIAL has been honoured with an award for the Best Managed Airport in the recently released CNBC AWAAZ Travel Awards for 2009. Now in its third year, the CNBC Awards honour the best in class organizations, destinations, infrastructure and service providers. It is based on an objective and comprehensive study that is conducted by a leading research firm across 12 cities with several thousands of respondents voting for their choice of travel services and destinations.

This prestigious recognition is an eloquent testimony of the collective efforts put in by all MIALites in efficiently managing the operations at CSIA, given the innumerable hurdles that they have faced for the past three years.

While these awards should only encourage MIALites to excel in everything they do, they also reflect the collective capability and resolve in setting new benchmarks in excellence. It is a clear indicator that all are moving in the right direction, towards creating a world class institution, winning several more laurels in future.
