Mumbai, June 18, 2009: Waiting to catch your flight can be a little unnerving, especially for young children. Kids can now look forward to spending some quality time at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) in Mumbai prior to boarding their flight. A children’s corner has been opened at Terminal 1B at CSIA. This corner with an area of 110 sq ft is located next to security hold 1 and will be managed by the renowned Landmark Book store. The corner, which is open from 6 am to 9 pm, offers basic facilities such as a television set, magic mirror, board games, drawing sheets and crayons.

Keeping in mind children’s fascination for cartoons, the corner is based on a Disney theme, with walls decorated with colorful pictorials of Disney characters. It also offers a colourful display of books and toys for children, that are available for purchase as well. Parents can be rest assured, as this section will be managed by responsible staff that can efficiently take care of the children. All in all, the kids’ zone promises to offer a fun-filled time for all its young visitors.
