Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAL) is a Public Private Partnership joint venture between GVK, BSDM, ACSA Global and Airports Authority of India (AAI). MIAL was awarded the mandate for operating and modernizing the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai (CSIA) in April 2006. GVK leads the consortium with 50.5% stake in MIAL while Bid Services Division (Mauritius) Limited (BSDM) holds 13.5%, ACSA Global 10% and AAI the remaining 26%.
MIAL's vision is to transform CSIA to one of the world’s best airports that consistently delights customers and be the pride of Mumbai.
The GVK led consortium comprises of GVK, Bidvest and Airports Company South Africa (ACSA). This consortium has led the redevelopment and modernization of CSIA.

2007 :
- ' Best Airport In India' by Air Passengers Association of India.
- CSIA is also the first airport in India to certify to International Standards for Passenger Complaint Handling and has received the ISO 10002:2004 Certification.
2008 :
- 'Best Airport In Public - Private Partnership' by Air Passengers Association of India.
- First international airport to be conferred with the Frost & Sullivan Aeronautical Excellence ‘Airport of the Year’ Award.
2009 :
- CSIA's New Proposed ATC Tower design wins a prestigious design award in Hong Kong.
- CNBC AWAAZ announces CSIA as the 'Best Managed Airport' .
2010 :
- CSIA voted 'Best Brown Field Airport in Public - Private Partnership' by Air Passengers Association of India.
- CSIA rated best airport in the country for airports above 15 mppa by Airport Council International (ACI) in the second quarter of 2010.
- CSIA is also the first airport in India to certify to International Standards for Passenger Complaint Handling and has received the ISO 10002:2004 Recertification.
