Public Transport

Mumbai is well connected through its public transport system. Tourists and visitors have a variety of options for intercity commute. Transport network includes the Mumbai Suburban Railway, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) buses, Taxis and Auto rickshaws. While these are economical and efficient, it is necessary to be acquainted with the local public transport system.

Suburban Trains
Mumbai Suburban Railway Network is the quickest way to commute within the city. Commonly referred to as Local trains, Mumbai trains have three different lines- the Western Line, the Central Main Line, and the Harbour Line. This extensive network reaches to almost all parts of the city and the suburbs and is the most preferred way to commute amongst the people of Mumbai.

The nearest suburban railway station from CSIA's Domestic Terminals in Santacruz is Vile Parle (East). Andheri (East) is the nearest suburban railway station from the International Terminal at Sahar.
